Companion website access is available for all Al-Kitaab Third Edition print and digital textbooks! The companion websites are powered by Lingco. Teachers can preview the companion websites and create courses following the information below.
Students receive 18 months of access that begins after a free 14-day grace period.
How to Use the Companion Websites
Is there instructor training?
Yes. Lingco periodically hosts live training sessions to teach you how to:
- Set up your course
- Register your students
- Assign and grade activities
- Build your own supplementary study material using Lingco’s intuitive tools.

How do I set up my course?
- Click the “Create my Course” button below and sign up as an instructor when prompted.
- You will receive a notification from Lingco within 1-2 business days giving you access to your course(s).
- Once you have access to the course, you can begin customizing it to suit your classroom needs.
- For resources on how to set up and customize your course, please visit the Lingco Help Center. It includes articles that explain how the platform works and what you can do with it.
How do I invite students to join my course?
There are several ways to invite students to join your course.
Navigate to the Class Roster and select “Add and Invite Students.” Then:
Option 1: Provide students with your unique Course Code.
After students have logged in or created a Lingco account, they will be prompted to enter the Course Code for your course. If students do not have a Course Code yet, they can still create an account and link to the course later by inputting the Course Code at any time. Students may enter their companion website Access Code when they create an account or before the 14-day grace period ends.
Option 2: Add students to the class roster in Lingco and have Lingco email them a course invitation.
Students will click on the link in the email, log in or sign up for a new account, and either input their companion website Access Code immediately or before the 14-day grace period ends.
Option 3: Provide students with your unique Course Link.
Once students click on the link that you have given them, they will be able to log in or sign up for a new account, and either input the Access Code in their package immediately or before the 14-day grace period ends.
